Welcome to the North Alabama Telugu Association (NATA), the cultural and social hub for Telugu-speaking individuals and families in the vibrant Huntsville area. Our association serves as a platform to connect, celebrate, and promote the rich heritage of Telugu culture in North Alabama.

Who We Are

NATA is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization established by and for Telugu-speaking people residing in North Alabama. Whether you are new to the area or have been here for years, we welcome you to be part of our growing family. Our diverse group includes individuals of all ages and backgrounds, bound by a shared love for Telugu culture.

We organize a variety of programs and activities throughout the year, including:

  • Cultural Events: Celebrations of traditional festivals like Sankranti, Ugadi, and Vana Bhojanam.

  • Social Gatherings: Picnics, sports events, and family get-togethers to strengthen community bonds.

  • Educational Initiatives: Telugu language classes, cultural workshops, and storytelling sessions for children.
